Metal fabrication
Fabricated metal parts generally start out as a flat piece of metal, laser cut and bent to shape. Our quantities range from one to many thousands.
Our three lasers can handle a variety of materials and sheet sizes. Our latest addition, the 2015 Mazak Optiplex 4 kW, CO2 laser,
offers state-of-the-art control providing the ultimate in part accuracy and edge quality.
Capabilities include:
- Carbon steel sheets to 1.00" thick
- Stainless steel, clean cut to 0.50"
- Aluminum to 0.38"
For fast response to our customer needs, we maintain an extensive inventory of materials.
Our experienced operators use our 8 foot X 65T or 12 foot X 175T CNC controlled press brakes to form parts to exacting requirements. We maintain an extensive catalog of die sets including 90 degree bends, chisel punches, offsets, and goosenecks.
We also routinely design and fabricate custom die sets (in a matter of a few days typically) to achieve non-standard, challenging product shapes.
If required, the formed parts are routed through our assembly area.
Products are checked to the Process Sheets at each step of the process.
